• Radical Inclusivity. AI safety is an intimidating field, especially for people who don’t have the background or resources to break in. We believe in inviting everyone to attend our events.

• Rigorous Open-mindedness. Because the field is so new, common notions of AI safety in theory and practice may clash across different people. We believe in keeping an open mind to strange ideas that may surprise us.
• Proactive Responsibility. We honor what we say we will do. Lastly, we take reports of harassment, discrimination, and dishonesty seriously and have a zero-tolerance policy for it.
